The Lakeside Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1342 in Syracuse is open to the public on Sunday, July 28.

From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., the post will be serving a beef and noodles with mashed potatoes dinner for $5 a plate. Entertainment by the Steve Hoover Band starts at 4 p.m.

The Lakeside VFW Post #1342 is located at 307 W. Chicago St., and is a family-friendly smoke-free facility. The public is welcome.
