Man Arrested In Vintage Video Game Thefts
One man was arrested late last night for allegedly breaking in to a local video store. Police say it was not the first incident and the thief’s prize was vintage video games.
After receiving an anonymous tip, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department detectives and undercover officers responded to the area of Center and Reed streets at about 10 p.m. Thursday. There, officers identified and located Nathan Scott Dimmock, 27, Warsaw, and took him into custody without incident.
Dimmock had allegedly broken into the Video World business that is located on West Lake Street, Warsaw, on four different occasions in the last several weeks. While inside, Dimmock reportedly stole various vintage video games that were estimated at over $10,000.
Dimmock was arrested and preliminarily charged with felony burglary to a business as well as felony theft. He is currently being held on a $5,000 bond in the Kosciusko County Jail.
