Dorons Celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary
Dr. Dale and Nancy (Erickson) Doron will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, July 26. They were married at Roeland Park Evangelical United Brethren Church, Roeland Park, Kan., on July 26, 1963. Dr. Kenneth Gangel was the officiant.
Dale and Nancy worked as missionaries with International Missions Inc., in Iran, Philippines and New Jersey. Dale pastored several churches in Indiana and more recently worked for Lee Restoration, in Warsaw, Ind. Nancy was employed at Lakeland Christian Academy and Grace College. Both are now retired, but for the past 6 years have taught at the Evangelical Theological Seminary with Asian Christian Academy near Bangalore, India.
They have five children: Elizabeth Gross (Pete Jr.), Pierceton, Ind.; Phil Doron (Pamela Powell), Ukarumpa, Papau, New Guinea; Julie (Stan) Hartzler, Syracuse, Ind.; Kristen (Craig) Calizo, Ewa Beach, Hawaii; Amy (Jeremy) Helmuth, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and 17 grandchildren.
The family will celebrate with a camping trip at Potato Creek State Park. The public is invited to a reception from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at Pleasant View Bible Church, 2782 W. 200 N., Warsaw.
