Members of the Turkey Creek Fire Territory responded to a fire at 6709 E. Willow Ave., Syracuse, at approximately 4 p.m.

The fire started in the engine compartment of a 2013 Mid-American boat owned by Owen Cobbum, 6709 E. Willow Ave., Syracuse. When firefighters arrived, the fire had been extinguished.
