WARSAW – Warsaw’s Justin Miller has signed a letter of intent to play football at Malone University in the fall of 2013.
Miller, a standout defensive back for Phil Jensen’s Tigers and a two-year letter winner, announced his intentions earlier this week. The Tigers student-athlete also participated in wrestling as a freshman.
While Miller was making big plays on the football field for the Tigers, he was also making his presence known in the classroom and the community. A member and co-president of the Warsaw Community High School Ski Club, he was also involved with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Blitz, numerous efforts with Habitat for Humanity, National Honor Society, and was recognized for his accomplishments in the classroom and athletics by Optimist Club, Kiwanis Club, and the Rotary Club. In the community he served his youth group, People to People leadership, Vision Chasers, Our Fathers House Soup Kitchen, and We Care.
Miller stands with a 9.38 GPA and is undecided on a major at this point, however the senior indicates he is leaning toward Communications and or Political Science with thoughts of possibly entering law school at some point.
