Robert ‘Bob’ L. Lashley
Robert “Bob” L. Lashley , 66, of Pierceton, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Ind.
He was born April 7, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio, to Robert and Joann (Gaughn) Lashley Sr. He moved to the area in 1985 from Ohio.
Bob retired from Dana Corporation in 2000. A U.S. Army veteran, Bob also retired from the Air National Guard. He served as past Commander of the North Webster American Legion #253.
He is survived by his wife: Joann Lashley, Pierceton; a daughter: Michelle Longenbarger. Toledo; a stepson: Eric (Carrie) Hill, Fort Smith, Ark.; three grandchildren; a brother-in-law: John Sicks, Leesburg, Ind.; a sister-in-law: Judy Stewart, Osceola, Ind.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and his parents.
A time of gathering will be from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at the North Webster American Legion. A memorial service honoring Bob’s life will follow at 1 p.m. in the legion. A luncheon will immediately follow. Ken Wilson will officiate the service and Military Honors will be performed by the Honor Guard.
