The Syracuse-Wawasee Park Foundation, Wawasee Kiwanis and Wawasee PeeWee Football will soon celebrate the efforts of many individuals, organizations, foundations and businesses that contributed their money and countless volunteer hours in support of the Harold Schrock Athletic Complex.

The Harold Schrock Athletic Complex will be the new home for the Syracuse Youth League and Wawasee PeeWee Football who have been working with the Syracuse-Wawasee Park Foundation for the past two years on the funding and construction of this facility. A dedication open house will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, with a short dedication ceremony to be followed by other events including: tours of the buildings; a baseball and softball game; a kids and “legends” flag football game; a hit, pitch and run contest; concessions and other activities.
