KREMC Announces Promotion Of Kurt Carver
Kosciusko REMC CEO and President Bruce Goslee recently promoted Kurt Carver to Manager of Operations and Engineering. Carver brings with him 33 years of experience, having worked at KREMC since 1980, in the Operations Department.
In 2003, Carver became the Operations supervisor, where he has overseen the day-to-day operations for 20 operations personnel. “I believe my ability to transition from the short-term thinking required in the supervisor position to long-term strategic thinking in the manger role, will prove to be a great contribution to the KREMC management team,” said Carver.
Carver graduated from Northfield High School then went on to earn a vocational certificate. He successfully completed both an Indiana statewide and national supervisor program, Rural Electric Leaders in Training Exchange (RELITE) and NRECA Management Essentials. Carver and his wife Susan live in Warsaw, and have two children, Nathaniel and Courtney.
“Kurt has shown an intuitive sense for the electric business, demonstrated his ability to supervise people, and shown a sincere dedication to Kosciusko REMC,” said Goslee, “He has trained in nearly every aspect of the Operations Department and I am confident he has acquired the knowledge necessary to be Manager of Operations and Engineering.”
