Louise F. Robison
Louise F. Robison, 89, of Nappanee, Ind., passed away at 2:28 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at IU Health Goshen Hospital, where she had been since April 1.
She was born Feb. 29, 1924, in Wakarusa, Ind., and was a lifetime area resident. She married Albert ‘Lefty’ Leroy Robison on May 8, 1943, in Nappanee. He preceded her in death.
She had been active with the Elder Haus where she loved to play cards and take local trips with residents from the Main Street Apartments. She loved flowers and gardening, playing cards with her friends and family, Cubs baseball and any basketball. She was a spunky little lady who loved life.
Surviving are daughters: Sherry (Walt) Stankovich, Goshen, Ind.; Rhonda Dinda, Cape Coral, Fla.; five grandchildren: Eric (Nikki) Adams, Tennessee; Amy (Jim) Checkley, Elkhart, Ind.; Tim (Jill) Stankovich, Wakarusa; Lori (Paul) Alvex, Osceola, Ind.; and Jason (Nicole) Tracey, Florida; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Visitation will take place from 4 p.m. 8 p.m. Thurs, April 11, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service on Friday, April 12, also at the funeral home. Officiating is Pastor Sam Bennett from the First Church of God in Nappanee. Burial will follow at Union Center Cemetery.
