Bourbon Police Arrest 3 Shoplifters
Three people were taken into custody in Bourbon last week in two separate shoplifting incidents at the Family Dollar store.
The first arrest of Tonia Tillotson, 44, of Bourbon, happened Thursday afternoon after the manager of Family Dollar notified the Bourbon Police Department that she was putting items in her purse.
Sgt. Rick Kanarr responded to the store and confronted the female in the parking lot after she exited the store. Numerous items from the store were located in her purse that she had not purchased.
She was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail, her bond was set at $1,500.
On Friday, the store manager again contacted Bourbon Police when a female and a male were observed putting items in their pockets and in the female’s purse. Dylan Craft, 21, of Argos, and Emily Dutcher, 20 of Bourbon, were both arrested.
Sgt. Rick Kanarr responded to the store at about 12:30 p.m. Friday and confronted both Craft and Dutcher in the parking lot after they exited the store. He located numerous items from the store that had not been purchased.
Craft and Dutcher were both arrested for theft. Their bonds were set at $3,000 each.
