Syracuse VFW, Auxiliary Hosts Ride For Heroes
The Syracuse Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1342, along with the Men’s and Women’s Auxiliary, will host its first annual Ride for Heroes on Saturday, April 13. The public is invited to participate in this charity motorcycle ride that will benefit the Wounded Warriors Project.
Sign-up for this 50-mile non-stop motorcycle ride will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on April 13, at the Syracuse VFW Post located at 307 W. Chicago Street. At 11 a.m. the ride will commence. The cost is $20 per rider and $5 for passengers. A $4 biscuit and gravy breakfast will be served during the sign-up time. After the ride, riders will return to free hog roast and entertainment at the Post. All riders are welcome to join in the fun and show their pride and support with red, white, and blue.
The Wounded Warrior Project is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to raising awareness and support for injured service members. The Syracuse VFW is a family-friendly, non-smoking facility.
