Rita Kay Ferguson, 63, of Winona Lake, Ind., passed away at 1:50 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, in Grace Village Retirement Community in Winona Lake.

She was a resident of Kosciusko County, Ind., for the past 24 years where she attended church at the Salvation Army of Warsaw and was a member of the Salvation Army Home League. Rita was a homemaker, and involved in the Senior Center.

She was born on Aug. 14, 1949, in Davenport, Iowa, to the late Kathryn (Davidson) Behrens and Wendlyn Otto Behrens, who survives in Milan, Ill.

She also leaves behind three brothers: Junior (Betty) Behrens, Brookings, S.D.; Clark (Ruth) Behrens, Milan, Ill.; and Douglas Behrens, Milan, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her mother, one son, one brother and one sister.Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home and will be officiated by  Jody Dalberg. Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery, Silver Lake, Ind.
