Two candidates have met the requirements and filed for the office of Kosciusko County Circuit Court Clerk and a new clerk will be named at a Republican caucus set for tomorrow night.

Jason McSherry, who won the seat for his second consecutive term in the 2012 election, announced his resignation last month. (See related story)

Ann Torpy of Mentone and Christopher S. Sanders of Warsaw have both filed their Declaration of Candidacy forms with Republican Chairman Randall Girod. The Republican Caucus is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday. Republican precinct committeemen will vote on the new appointment in the upstairs courtroom of the Kosciusko County Courthouse.
