Amanda E. Kuhns, 84, of 7426 W. 850 N., Etna Green, Ind., passed away at 2:42 am, Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at her residence of natural causes.

She was born July 4, 1928, in Kosciusko County, Ind., to Pete and Emma (Mullet) Graber and lived her lifetime in this area. On Oct. 1, 1964, she married Eli Kuhns. He survives.

Mrs. Kuhns was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church in Nappanee.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter: Pauline Faye Kuhns, Etna Green; sons: Alton Jay (Treva) Kuhns, Etna Green; Ernest Lee (SuEtta) Kuhns, Etna Green; LaVern Dean (Arlene) Kuhns, Goshen, Ind.; 20 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters: Dorothea Gingerich, Riverside, Iowa; Mary (Olen) Schrock, Kalona, Iowa; Ruth (Joseph) Graber, Spooner, Wis.; Susie (Homer) Hershberger, Leon, Iowa; Martha (Enos) Kaufman, Etna Green; and brothers: Paul (Anna) Graber, Guthrie, Ky.; Ralph (Sharon) Graber, Fort Worth, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother: Jacob Graber; and a brother-in-law: Jacob Gingerich.

Visitation will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, and all day Thursday, Feb. 28, at the family residence. Funeral services will be at the Marvin Miller residence located at 8903 N. 800 W. at 9:30 a.m., Friday, March 1. The Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate and burial will be in Graber Cemetery.
