J. Randy Baldridge
J. Randy Baldridge, 53, of Pierceton, Ind., passed away at 8:57 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born April 2, 1959, in Warsaw, to Arthur and Renis (Bradley) Baldridge. On Feb. 24, 1996, married Jane Shepherd in Pierceton, Ind. He lived his entire life in Kosciusko County.
Randy was a machinist at DANA Corp., in Syracuse, Ind., for the past 9 years. He was a member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, Silver Lake, Ind.; made banjos, mandolins and guitars and taught his children to play stringed instruments. He enjoyed hunting deer and rabbit, he was truly a devoted family man and taught his children the Bible and the importance of being involved in the church.
He is survived by his wife: Jane Baldridge, Pierceton; four daughters: Shanna (Dusty) Greenwood, Pierceton; and Myia Baldridge, KaLee Baldridge and Lissa Baldridge, all at home; two sons: Garold Baldridge, Claypool, Ind.; and Jerico Baldridge, at home; his parents: Arthur and Renis Baldridge, Pierceton; three brothers: Johnny (Sandy) Baldridge, Prestonsburg, Ky.; James (Sally) Baldridge, Columbia City, Ind.; T. Leon (Trish) Baldridge, Palestine, Ind.; a sister: Annette (Kerry) Hughes, Pierceton; and four grandchildren: Madison, Lindsey, Kristin and Jayce.
Visitation begins at 2 p.m. in the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, Silver Lake, and will continue until the service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, in the church. Pastor Carl Hughes, Full Gospel Pentecostal Church and Pastor Junior Arnett, Water of Life Church will officiate. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s charity of choice, or simple acts of kindness may be done for others in Randy’s memory.
