Stephen Wayne Harris, 58, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 5:17 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, in Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, Ind.

He was born in Warsaw to Voyal Jr and Burrlene (Ellenwood) Harris on Jan. 8, 1955. He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. He married Rae Hancock in Warsaw on June 19, 2003.

He was a truck driver for Dana Corporation of Fort Wayne and Pepsi. He also worked for Biomet in Warsaw. He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Warsaw.

Stephen was survived by his wife: Rae Harris, Warsaw; two sons: Ryan (Ronda) Harris, Pierceton, Ind.; and Robert Harris, South Whitley, Ind.; a daughter: Renee (Joe) Grant, South Whitley; a stepson: Aaron (Cassandra) Hancock, Warsaw; a stepdaughter: Christina Meade, Warsaw; a sister: Alice (Gene) Sieman, Winona Lake, Ind.; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a nephew.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service with be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the funeral home with Pastor Rob Harrison officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
