Hariet Stahley, 96, Syracuse, Ind., passed away on Feb. 4, 2013, at Millers Merry Manor in Syracuse.

She was born on Aug. 18, 1916, in Elkhart County, Ind. to Raymond and Mildred (Biller) Warstler.

She had been a Syracuse resident since 1942 coming from South Bend, Ind., where she was educated at the University of Notre Dame and was employed as an engineer at Ball Band.

She is survived by her daughter: Debra Tanskey, Port Saint Lucie, Fla.; her son: Ralph Stahley, Syracuse, Ind.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded by her husband Ralph Stahley Sr. on April 7, 1958.

There will be a memorial service and interment at the Syracuse Cemetery at a later date.
