Janice C. Goff
Janice C. Goff, 97, of North Manchester, Ind., and formerly of South Whitley, Ind., passed away at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
She was born June 2, 1915, in Whitley County, Ind., to John and Lesta (Tschantz) Goff. She graduated from South Whitley High School and was a member of South Whitley United Methodist Church, South Whitley. In 1980 she retired from General Electric, Fort Wayne, Ind., after 40 years of service in the Specialty Transformer Department.
Janice is a former member of First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne; G.E. Club Pen El Chapter, GE Quarter Century Club and Chapter 432 of Eastern Star, Fort Wayne. Â She had volunteered over 20 years at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Saturday, Feb. 2, at Peabody Chapel, 400 W. Seventh Street, North Manchester. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the funeral chapel. Pastor Sue Babovec will officiate. Burial will be in South Whitley Cemetery, South Whitley.
