Phyllis C. Piper
Phyllis C. Piper 85, of North Webster, Ind., died Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 23, 2013, at the home of her daughter, Jane.
She was born Aug. 26, 1927, in Chicago, Ill., to Albert and Marie (Flanders) Clark. On July 5, 1946, she married Edgar Glen Piper in Independence, Kan. He died in 2005. Mrs. Piper was a homemaker and worked at Johnson Controls in assembly prior to retirement. She was a member of Christian Fellowship of Goshen, Ind.
She is survived by three daughters: Jane (Tom) Davis, North Webster; Robin (Daren) Rader, Elkhart, Ind.; and Rebecca Piper, Tacoma, Wash.; a son: Joe (Darlene) Piper, Hendersonville, N.C.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother: Ronald (Barbara) Clark, Denver, Colo.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. At 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, funeral will be held at the funeral home, with Pastor Craig Garber of Christian Fellowship of Goshen, officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Ind.
