UPDATE: Two Schools Book Motivational Speaker
Warsaw Community High School has now been added to the stops that motivational speaker Jeff Yalden will make in Kosciusko County next week.
Yalden has become the most in-demand youth speaker in America and, with the two recent suicides at Wawasee High School and one at WCHS, Yalden will bring his message to our area next week.
Yalden has captured the attention of more than 4,000 teen audiences around the world. As a youth motivational speaker, he has addressed audiences in all 50 states, 48 countries, and every province in Canada
Wawasee High School will be host Yalden on Thursday, Jan. 31. WCHS will welcome him on Friday, Feb. 1.
Yalden is a youth motivational speaker who is known not only nationally but internationally. “I met Jeff 15 years ago and reached out to him this week to come to our community to speak and lift our hearts with the recent tragedies in our community,” said Don Harman, WHS principal.
Yalden will be speaking to the Wawasee student body at 8:15 a.m. in the Spectator Gym. He will then speak to the community at 7 p.m. that evening, also in the Spectator Gym.
On Friday, Yalden will give two 80-minute messages to Warsaw Community High School students. The first message is targeted to the junior and senior class. He will then repeat this message for the freshman and sophomore classes.
This special convocation will take place in the WCHS Performing Arts Center. Jeff will spend the remainder of his day with WCHS students in small group settings. He will conclude his visit by making himself available to community members at the boys varsity basketball game versus Elkhart Memorial.
