Decima A. ‘Dollie’ Butt, 89, of Syracuse, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at the IU Goshen Hospital.

She was born June 29, 1923, in Indian Village, Ind., to Arthur C. and Violet Ann (Prentice) Kolberg. On Oct. 4, 1943, she married Dale Butt who preceded her in 2005. She was a lifelong area resident. She retired from the Syracuse State Bank and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son: Kenneth Butt, Syracuse; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister: Margaret Poyser, Cromwell, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, two daughters, a daughter-in- law, one brother and five sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Indian Village Cemetery.
