Casey A.J. “KC” Ochs, 15, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 6:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013.

He was born April 11, 1997, in Sierra Vista, Ariz., to Christopher J. and Dominique (Blancette) Ochs. He moved to the area 8 years ago from Muncie and was a sophomore at Wawasee High School in Syracuse, Ind. He was a member of the Epic Student Ministries Youth Group at the North Webster Church of God.

He is survived by his father: Chris Ochs, Warsaw; his mother and step-father: Dominique and Caleb Gilmer, Warsaw; a brother: McKinley “Bear” Ochs, Warsaw; a step-brother: Bryce Gilmer, Syracuse; and his maternal grandmother: Janeen Smith, California.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 8056 E. 500N (SR 13 and CR 500N), North Webster, Ind. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Memorial bequest may be given to the Donor’s Choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
