Incidents
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department have recently investigated the following incidents:
- Jan. 10, 9:04 a.m. Shevonie Clair reported fraud when money was taken out of her business account, at 115 S. Buffalo St.
- Jan. 10, 9:08 a.m. Ranger Materials reported theft of motor vehicle parts from their parking lot at 301 Argonne Rd.
- Jan. 10, 10:34 a.m. Officers investigated a situation where three adult men occupied a vehicle with no one in the driver’s seat parked at 2501 Walton Blvd. Upon contact, the officer detected the odor of marijuana; two individuals were taken into custody.
- Jan. 10, 10:44 a.m. A welfare check occurred at a homeless shelter located at 337 N. Buffalo St.
- Jan. 9, 3 p.m. Menards of Warsaw reported a shoplifter. A male subject was arrested.
Accidents
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department have recently investigated the following traffic accidents:
- Thursday, Jan. 10, 7:19 a.m. Fisher Avenue and Rozella Road. Drivers: Norman Mccord, 55, East 800 South, Claypool; and Michelle Larsh, 45, South Woodland Trail, Warsaw. Mccord pulled into the intersection, into the pathof Larsh’s vehicle and the two collided. Damages: up to $5,000
- Thursday, Jan. 10, 6:09 p.m. 2211 E. Center St. Drivers: Kenneth Baber, 79, North 600 West, Warsaw; and Douglas Clingerman, 56, EMS B7A Lane, Leesburg. Baber backed in to Clingerman’s vehicle. Damages: up to $2,500
- Wednesday, Jan. 9, 3:31 p.m. West Lake Street and Hepler Drive. Drivers: David Anderson, 39, East Main Street, Warsaw; and Cassie Herrick, 23, U.S. 31, Plymouth. Anderson rear ended Herrick’s vehicle. Damages: up to $10,000
