Evelyn Canzoneri, 85, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, Ind.

Evelyn was born Nov. 25, 1927, Custer, Wis., to Ben Zeromski and Gertrude (Ropella) Zeromski. She moved from Chicago, Ill., to North Manchester, Ind. On April 15, 1950, Evelyn married Joseph Canzoneri in Chicago.

Evelyn worked as a clerk for the state of Illinois BMV. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw.

She is survived by her daughter: Linn C. (Henry Buikema) Eisen-Buikema, Naples, Fla. Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband; son: Joseph M. Canzoneri; sister-in-law: Carmela Canzoneri; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Jan. 21, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw. Father Phil DeVolder of Sacred Heart Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, Ill. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home.
