Pet of the Week
S.C.A.R.S. Pit Bull Rescue is desperately searching for a home – or even a foster home – for Thunder, who is currently in a high kill shelter in Kentucky.
Thunder grew up with three young children and other dogs. He was surrendered to the shelter because the homeowner’s insurance company would not allow the breed in the home.
Thunder can be transported to S.C.A.R.S. on Dec. 28 only if he has a home or at least a foster home. He is 7 years young and very healthy but he will need to be neutered. Thunder is housebroken and friendly.
Anyone interested in adopting or even foster Thunder to save his life until a permanent home can be found should contact S.C.A.R.S. Pit Bull Rescue immediately by calling 574-253-1340 or emailing [email protected].
All Kosciusko County nonprofit animal rescue groups are invited to use our Pet of the Week feature to help animals find homes. Please send photos, information on the animals, and all adoption information – such as pricing, what the fee includes, and how to contact someone about the animal – to [email protected] and we will happily feature the animal(s).
