Armory Plays Host To Pickle Ball
National Guard Armory, Warsaw, was the scene of a competitive Pickle Ball Holiday Tournament, Thursday, Dec. 20. More than 25 players participated including those from Syracuse, North Webster and Warsaw. Mike and Kayla Musler organized the tourney.
Winners were Tom Roebuck, Syracuse, A flight; and Susan Sharp, Syracuse, B flight.
Pickle ball is a fast-paced game played with a hard wiffle ball on a netted court. North Webster Community Center, Syracuse Community Center and the Warsaw Armory are open for play most days of the week and some evenings.
Beginners are encouraged to join in by using free equipment and being given free lessons. Those with questions should contact Roebuck, (312) 316-5553 or contact the locations for hours of play.
