Incidents Officers of the
Warsaw Police Department have recently investigated the following
incidents:
- Dec. 20, 6:40 a.m. Officers
arrested an individual on a warrant at 2501 Walton Blvd. - Dec. 20, 12 a.m. Jerry Opperud reported a lost license
plate at 2191 Armstrong Rd, Leesburg. - Dec. 20,
12:51 p.m. Mary Branco reported criminal mischief in the form of
her tires being slashed at 604 E. Fort Wayne St. - Dec. 20, 4:03 p.m. Ryne Schaden reported criminal
mischief in the form of his tires being slashed at 317 N. Tamarack
St. - Dec. 20, 11:31 p.m. A Warsaw woman
reported a battery involving a baseball bat and a knife. The investigation is ongoing. - Dec. 20, 11:34 p.m. Tyler Blankenship reported a burglary
at 720 Eagle St., where a 42-inch flat screen television was
reportedly taken from the property. - Dec. 18,
11 p.m. Amber Bowen reported having items stolen from her
apartment at 515 E. Center St. - Dec. 19, 9:14
a.m. Mike Gill Auto Parts reported theft of motor vehicles parts
and accessories at 1806 Winona Ave. - Dec. 19,
2:52 p.m. An individual reported property lost at 590 E. 300
North. - Dec. 19, 3:57 p.m. Pamela Anderson
reported theft from her business at 403 N. Maple Ave. - Dec. 19, 4:57 p.m. Theodore Nine reported a vehicle theft
at 2777 N. Detroit St. - Dec. 19, 6:35 p.m.
Israel Villarreal reported an attempted burglary at 220 Bass
St.
Accidents
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department have recently investigated
the following traffic accidents:
- Thursday,
Dec. 20, 6:30 a.m. Jalynn Street and Walton Boulevard. Drivers:
Jennifer Mann, 42, North Lake Street, Warsaw; and Jerry Christner,
70, Hepler Drive, Warsaw. Mann moved toward the right and collided
with Christner’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000. - Wednesday, Dec. 19, 4:59 p.m. East Center Street and
North Detroit Street. Drivers: Deborah Coldren, 29, South Mill
Street, North Webster; and Steven Helsel, 55, Craftbury Circle,
Fort Wayne. Coldren rear ended Helsel’s vehicle. Damages up to
$5,000. - Wednesday, Dec. 19, 6:54 a.m. Lake
City Drive. Drivers: Joseph Gomes, 42, Syracmore Street, Fort
Wayne; and Kris Doub, 55, East US 30, Pierceton. Gomes merged into
the right lane of traffic and struck Doub’s vehicle. Damages up to
$2,500.
