Charlotte V. Stine
Charlotte V. Stine, 67, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 4:15 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at her residence following a two and a half year battle with cancer.
She was born Aug. 6, 1945, in Plymouth, Ind., to John and Edna (Marsh) Cochran. On Aug. 13, 1961, in Warsaw, she was married to Danny L. Stine who survives at home.
Charlotte was a homemaker and a seamstress. She enjoyed sewing and was a very accomplished woodworker. She was a member of the Atwood Methodist Church. She loved caring for her grandchildren and was a graduate of Warsaw High School.
She is survived by her husband; three sons: Rodney (Theresa) Stine, Warsaw; Christopher Stine, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Stacy (Christina) Stine, Prescott, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers: Richard ‘Skip’ Cochran, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Bill (Linda) Cochran, Mentone, Ind. She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Ruth Hartzell; three brothers: Chuck Cochran; George Cochran; and Ed Cochran.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone. A service honoring Charlotte will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20., at King Memorial Home and will be officiated by Minister Larry Ross. Burial will take place at Stoney Point Cemetery, Clunette/Atwood, Ind.
