Betty J. Davis, 89, formerly of Etna Green, Ind., passed away at 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, in Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare of Milford, Ind.

Betty was born to Raymond and Gayle Yazel Baker on May 7, 1923, in Kosciusko County. She was married to Claude “Red” Davis in 1942 and he proceeded in death on Feb. 14, 2000.

As a homemaker, she enjoyed being a member of the ONO Club of Etna Green and she was a faithful member of the Etna Green Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Etna Green High School in 1948.

She is survived by her son: Doug (Connie) Davis, Ligonier, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Raymond Baker, Etna Green; and Donald (Betty) Baker, Bremen, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter: Jayne Gault; son: Tony Davis; and a brother: Dick Baker.

The family will receive friends on 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, in the Etna Green Church of Christ 206 W. Broadway, Etna Green. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the Etna Green Church of Christ with Pastor Jordan Ickes officiating. Burial will follow in the Etna Green Cemetery at Etna Green.
