Lane Restrictions On U.S. 30
The Indiana Department of Transportation is advising motorists that there will be intermittent lane restrictions on U.S. 30 in Kosciusko and Whitley counties this week.
Starting today, INDOT maintenance crews will be working in both directions on U.S. 30, between SR 13 and SR 5. As work is in progress, the road will be restricted to one lane, controlled by arrowboards and/or flaggers.
This is a continuously slow-moving operation with a 12-foot width limit. Drivers should also be aware of merging construction traffic. It is anticipated this work will be completed by end of the day tomorrow, Dec. 11.
INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone. You can find traffic restriction information at www.trafficwise.IN.gov.
