Larry B. Gingerich
Larry B. Gingerich, 62, of Ligonier, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at his home after a short-term battle with cancer.
He was born on May 6, 1950, in Goshen, Ind., to Benedict and Barbara (Bontrager) Gingerich. He married Paula Swihart on Dec. 11, 1984, in Las Vegas, Nev.
He served his I W Service at St. Joseph Hospital in South Bend, Ind., from 1969 to 1971. Mr. Gingerich was formerly employed with Crossroads RV in Topeka. He was a member of the American Legion Post #243.
He is survived by his wife: Paula, Ligonier; a son: Quentin (Hope) Swihart, Ligonier; a daughter: Vikki (Phil) Feldman, Kimmell, Ind.; four grandchildren: Kristen and Shawn Swihart and Anthony and Skylar Feldman; five brothers: Clarence (Mary) Gingerich, Shipshewana, Ind.; Ben (Linda) Gingerich Jr., Ligonier; Freeman (Clara) Gingerich, Topeka, Ind.; Orla (Becky) Gingerich, Topeka, Ind.; a twin brother: Perry (Janet) Gingerich, Topeka; and a sister: Katie Irene (Ora) Nisley, Topeka.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-In-Law: Norman Biddle.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Yeager Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, in the Eden Worship Center, 4095 S. 900 W., Honeyville, Ind. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Eden Worship Center. Pastor Harold Gingerich will officiate. Burial will be in Hawpatch Cemetery in Topeka.
