Georgia M. Baum
Georgia M. Baum, 92, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.
She was born May 29, 1920, in Warsaw, to Edward C. and Ethena Loretta (Truex) Weirick. She was a 1938 graduate of Warsaw High School.
On Sept. 3, 1949, in Burket, Ind., she married Franzil B. Baum. She was a homemaker and worked for Little Crow for 15 years. She was a member of Burket United Methodist Church.
Georgia is survived by a son: Rick (Mona) Baum, Warsaw; a daughter: Cindy Brown, Warsaw; three grandchildren: Jeremy (Kristin) Baum, Indianapolis; Abbie Baum, Warsaw; and Steph Guild, Millersburg, Ind.; two great-grandchildren: Brady and Carter; and a sister: Lolabelle Sloan, Warsaw.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Franzil Baum; two sisters: Edna Truman and Mary McCullough; and two brothers: Bill Weirick and Carl Weirick.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. The service will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dennis Bollenbacher, chaplain of Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Claypool, Ind.
