Beverly Shaw
Beverly Shaw, 78, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away 1:40 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw, Ind.
She was born July 29, 1934, in Detroit, Mich., to John And Willa Bell (Campbell) Skees.
A longtime Kosciusko County, Ind., resident, she graduated from Atwood High School. She was united in marriage to Orlie Shaw in Leesburg, Ind., on July 1, 1967. She retired in May 2012 after 40 years of service with the Warsaw Community Schools as a bus driver. She enjoyed spending time with her family and spent many hours spoiling her grandchildren. Her family was her world.
She is survived by her husband: Orlie Shaw, Warsaw; a daughter: Billijo (Jeffrey) Brown, Atwood, Ind.; an honorary son: Chad Marsh, South Whitley, Ind.; a daughter-in-law: Angie Shaw, Warsaw; grandchildren: C. J. Kester and Nickolas and Isabella Shaw, all of Warsaw; and Darian Kester, Orlie Bryant Shaw and Alex Brown, all of Atwood; a sister: Jeanette Mattern, Bremen, Ind.; step-children: Chris Shaw, Sam (Vikki) Shaw and Toni (Tim) Reiff, all of Warsaw; and step-grandchildren: Kristy (Jared) Childres and Caleb and Olivia Childres, all of Warsaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother: John Skees; and a son: Sgt. Jeffery Shaw.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Wednesday Oct. 31, at the funeral home. Pastor Dennis Bollenbacher will officiate the services. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
