UPDATE: Entrapment Reported In Syracuse Crash
One person was reportedly trapped inside a vehicle following a 3 a.m. crash in the 3800 block of Bowser Road, Syracuse.
According to Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department information, Kevin R. Anderson, 29, of Leesburg, was westbound on Bowser Road and apparently crossed the center line. When he attempted to correct the vehicle, he began sliding sideways, which resulted in the vehicle leaving the road and striking a tree on the driver’s side.

A passenger in the vehicle, Abigail Roberts, 26, of Indianapolis, was also taken to KCH for treatment of knee pain and minor bleeding.
Anderson took a breathalyzer test and recorded a .09 percent BAC. Blood tests are pending.
Damages in the crash were estimated at up to $25,000.
