The Bell Gunness Mystery At WCPL
There will be a special screening of a documentary about Belle Gunness, a serial killer who lived in LaPorte, Ind., in the early 1900’s and killed 25 to 40 people on her rural Indiana farm.
The documentary maker will join the Warsaw Community Public Library for a question and answer session after the film, being shown at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30. The program is free and the public is invited to attend.
Gunness was ruthless in her acquisition of land and money; husbands died mysteriously, employees disappeared, others had “unexplained accidents” while visiting the Gunness farm.
