The Kosciusko County American Red Cross is honoring a long-time volunteer for her efforts with serving the local chapter.

Neva Gross has served the Kosciusko County American Red Cross as a Blood Services volunteer for 35 years. Her retirement was celebrated at the Oct. 9 Blood Drive at the Center Lake Pavilion, where a Red Cross blood drive event is held the second Tuesday of each month – with the exception of November because of Election Day. The November blood drive will be held Tuesday, Nov. 13.
