Former WCHS standout golfer Tyler Ostrom finished in 11th place Tuesday for the Ball State University men’s golf team in the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational.

Ostrom, a freshman for the Cardinals, shot a seven over par total of 217 for the three-round event played at the Delaware Country Club in Muncie. The tournament is named in honor of former long time BSU men’s golf coach and SID Earl Yestingsmeier.

Ostrom, the 2011 individual state champion, shot rounds of 69, 74 and 74.

Kyle Perry of Indiana University won the invitational with a two-under total of 208.
