Mom In Abuse Case Has Morning Hearing
Sherry (Sherri) Faye Shell, 35, of 866 Pine Mills Rd., Warsaw, is still behind bars today facing two felony charges after she allegedly admitted to a Warsaw Police detective that she used “excessive force” in disciplining her children, which resulted in their injuries. (See related story). Sources tell StaceyPageOnline.com today, however, that Shell is not the children’s biological mom.
Shell will appear in Kosciusko County Superior Court II at 8:15 a.m. Friday. During the hearing, the court will decide if she should be appointed a public defender and will formally read the charges against her. Shell is charged with two Class D felony counts of battery to a person less than 14 years of age.
Since Shell’s arrest, her Facebook account has unveiled new information about her.Shell claims to be a coordinator for The Beaman Home and has posted a number of anti-domestic violence photos and links to similar informational fliers. StaceyPageOnline.com, however, confirmed with April Collette, the outreach coordinator for The Beaman Home, that “Sherry (Sherri) Shell is not currently and has never been an employee of The Beaman Home.”
Shell was arrested Monday and is being held on a $2,500 bond.
