Geraldine Frankle
Geraldine Frankle, 93, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 3:50 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.
On July 17, 1919, she was born in Akron, Ind., to London and Florence (Bunnell) Imhoff. She married John Frankle on Jan. 6, 1942, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. John preceded her in June 13, 1985.
She has been a resident of Warsaw since 1948. She graduated from South Bend Beauty School. Geraldine was a piano teacher for over 50 years retiring in 1999.
She was a beautician and was the owner of her own beauty solon for 4 years. She was a member of Akron Eastern Star and First United Methodist Church, Warsaw.
Geraldine is survived by a daughter: Judy (Jim) Miller, Warsaw; two sons: Jim Frankle and daughter-in-law Karen Frankle, Columbia City, Ind.; and Joel (Jennifer) Frankle of Huntington, Ind.; nine grandchildren: Jim Miller, Granite Bay, Calif.; Lisa Page, Slidell, La.; Scott Miller, Warsaw; Kevin Frankle, Columbia City; Michelle Simmons, Columbia City; and Emily, Kati, Megan and Hannah Frankle, all of Huntington, Ind.; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with Pastor William Wood officiating.
