Upcoming Syracuse library events

Children’s Storytime Begins in October
Children’s Storytime starts back up at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 1. Come on either Mondays or Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. for stories, songs, play and fun. Please call the children’s department with any questions.
Young Adult Book Club
The YA book club meets at 5 p.m. on Oct. 2 to discuss new books and plan the library’s Halloween program.
Halloween Volunteers Needed
The library is looking for volunteers for our upcoming Halloween program from approximately 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 31. You can be in the program itself or you can work behind the scenes. We need a few actors to act out scenes from well-known children’s books (we’ll provide the costumes and props – and you don’t have to memorize any lines!), and we also need volunteers to be door counters, tour guides and to help us set up/tear down. This is a fun night and volunteers are always rewarded with delicious gifts for their work. Ages 12 and up. Please call the library at 574-457-3022 to sign up or learn more.
