Norma I. Conley Brown
Norma I. Conley Brown, 79, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 10:57 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at Parkview Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
On May 23, 1933, she was born in Irwin, Pa., to Isaac and Mary Howard. She married Robert E. Conley on Nov. 30, 1949, and then she married Robert R. Brown on June 24, 1977.
Norma moved to Warsaw in 1951. She worked as a cashier for Marsh Supermarkets where she retired. She also cleaned houses for a living.
She was a member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, Warsaw, a past member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Warsaw Bowlers Hall of Fame. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo at various places including the American Legion, VFW, Moose Lodge and the Elks Lodge.
She is survived by a daughter: Carol (Bill) Trump, Warsaw; a son: Michael (Diane) Conley; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, two sisters and a brother.
Visitation hours will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, and one hour prior to the service at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at the funeral home with Pastor Holly White officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
