Arrests May Solve Thefts From Vehicles
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 4000 block of Deer Run at 4:07 a.m. yesterday when a resident saw two subjects running toward a vehicle that had been parked along the road in the addition.
A description of the fleeing suspect vehicle was dispatched as deputies converged on the area. Deputies then discovered that several vehicles had been entered into and a number of items were stolen.
As officers were searching the area, a Warsaw City Police patrolman spotted what was described as the possible suspect vehicle near the intersection of CRs 300 North and 100 East. County officers arrived with Warsaw police officers and took three males subjects into custody: Dane Ryan Gohring, 20; Tanner Leonard, 20; and Cory Alan Reid Conley, 20, all of Warsaw.
Inside the vehicle the men were in, officers located numerous items including some that had just been reported stolen from Deer Run residents.
Gohring, Leonard and Conley are all being held on $2,000 bonds and are currently charged with theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief. KCSD detectives say additional burglary charges are also possible. The three are being investigated for other thefts from vehicles that have occurred in the last three months throughout the county.
