Sharon L. Stotts
Sharon L. Stotts, 67, of Heyland Drive, Columbus, Ind., and formerly of Warsaw, Ind., died at 10:49 p.m. Aug. 13, 2012, in her residence.
She was born Dec. 14, 1944, in Indianapolis, to Ernest C. and Eva L. Gall Howard. On July 4, 1969, she married William H. “Bill” Stotts, who died in February 1997.
She attended Leesburg School and was a member of Revival Full Gospel Tabernacle, Clifford, and graduated from Columbus High School. She enjoyed genealogy, gardening, playing cards, playing her player piano, accounting and baking.
Mrs. Stotts is survived by a daughter: Stephanie Stotts-Lalani (AJ Lalani), Columbus; and Peggy L. Stotts, Mt. Eden, Ky.; two brothers: Phillip Howard, Gladstone, Mich.; and Robert Jones Jr., Vallonia; four sisters: June May, Warsaw; Marsha Lentowski, Brownstown; Margerie Vinnedge, Lake in the Hills, Ill.; and Beverly Neff, Warsaw; a grandson: Jason Michael (Jessica) Stolz; and two great-grandchildren: Makayla Grace and Skyler Jo Stolz.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Ernest C. and Eva L. Gall Howard; two brothers: Ernest Eugene Howard and Floyd Thomas Jones; a sister: Glenda Lecount; and a grandchild: Logan Lalani.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Revival Full Gospel Tabernacle with the Rev. Eli Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Flatrock Baptist Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home, Columbus, Ind.
