Reese Alan Brewer, 63, of Warsaw, Ind., and formerly of Syracuse, Ind., passed away 11:55 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at his home.

He was born on May 3, 1949, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Paul D. and Rowena K. (Kline) Brewer.

He lived most of his life in the Fort Wayne and Warsaw areas.  He retired in 2007 from Cardinal Center in Warsaw and attended Christ’s Covenant Church in Warsaw.

He is survived by his cousins: Phil Kline, South Bend, Ind.; Judy Smith, Syracuse; Gary (Shirley) Kline, Syracuse; Connie (Steve) Solina, Syracuse; Roger (Vickie) Brown, Syracuse; Tina Comacho, Goshen, Ind.; Dennis Kline, Goshen; and a special friend: Mary Kay Bess, Warsaw.

He was preceded by his parents and a brother: Paul D. Brewer.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16, at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Larry McCall of the church officiating. Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery.
