Leona M. Bailey, 82, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 1:41 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was born May 31, 1930, in Marietta, Ohio, to Calvin and Thyrza (Kinsey) Lee. She lived in Warsaw for over 50 years and was a homemaker. Leona attended New Creation Church, Warsaw.

She is survived by three sons: William (Becky) Bailey, Warsaw; Elam Bailey, Atlanta, Ga.; Matthew (Victoria) Bailey, San Diego, Calif.; three daughters: Thyrza Jane (Charles) Boring, Warsaw; Marlene Bailey, Pierceton, Ind.; and Juanita Wooten, Warsaw; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son: Joseph Junior Bailey; three brothers: Fred Lee, Ellis Lee and Vic Lee; three sisters: June Kehl, Geraldine Brown and Kathleen Walters.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A service will follow at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Rev. Rick Tolley, New Foundations Ministries, Wabash, Ind. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
