Steven Derek Hunsberger, 39, of Elkhart, Ind., passed away at 7:18 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, in his residence.

On July 25, 1973, Steven was born to Lynn (Ruggles) Strand and Steve Hunsberger in Warsaw. Steven lived most of his life in Kosciusko County. On Dec. 17, 2011, Steven married Rebecca Kuta in Elkhart, she survives. Steven was a cabinet maker and employed at Dutchman Coach of Goshen, Ind.

Steven is survived by his wife: Rebecca Hunsberger; seven children: Hailee Hunsberger, Derek Hunsberger, Travis Kuta, Jake Kuta, Walker Kuta, Brittney Overlander, Lane Overlander; his parents: Lynn Strand and Steve Hunsberger; three brothers: Steve Hunsberger, Rodney Hunsberger and Josh Hunsberger; and four sisters: Staci Jordan, Veronica Moore, Tara Moore and Tricia Chupp..

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.

The family has asked for memorials to be made out to the Steven Hunsberger Memorial Fund c/o Rebecca Hunsberger.
