Senior Morgan Sands led the way as the Warsaw Community High School girls golf team posted a convincing win over West Noble Tuesday.

Sands shot a nine-hole total of 43 as the No. 12 Tigers topped the Chargers 186-247 at the Stonehenge Golf Club in Winona Lake.

Junior Nikki LaLonde carded a 44 as WCHS improved to 2-0 on the young season. Sophomore Alexis Manwaring shot 49, senior Ashley Murrell 50 and junior Miranda Domiano 64 for the winners.

Paige Shearer led West Noble with a 57.

Warsaw plays in the Fremont Invitational Thursday at the Lake James Golf Club.
