The burn ban that has been in effect in Kosciusko County since June 15 has finally been lifted.

Kosciusko County Commissioners this morning ended the ban after the area finally received some much needed rain over the past week.

All burn restrictions for trash, yard debris and even campfires are no longer in effect, however, Kosciusko County Emergency Management Director Ed Rock says his office and all county fire departments urge residents to continue to use caution and good judgement as they dispose of the debris that has accumulated as a result of recent storms.
