High Pollen Alert for Kosciusko
People who suffer from seasonal allergies may notice their symptoms intensify today. The National Weather Service reports today is a high-pollen day for weeds.

The NWS in Northern Indiana says this morning’s severe thunderstorm warning for Kosciusko, Marshall, Whitley, Noble and Fulton counties has now expired. Rain is expected to end by 11 a.m. and give way to mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid-80s.
At 8:19 a.m. today, NWS Doppler Radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing golf ball size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. These storms were expected to hit Warsaw, Winona Lake, Mentone, Rochester, North Webster, Pierceton, South Whitley, Columbia City and Tri-Lakes, and include the areas of Lake Wawasee, Dewart Lake, Tippecanoe Lake, James Lake, Oakwood Park and Etna Green.
So far, there have been no reports of severe weather or storm damage.
