Larry G. Stover, 72, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 10:51 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Ind.
On April 10, 1940 he was born in Elwood, Ind., to Leonard and Thelma (DeLawter) Stover.
Larry married Nancy Banghart in Warsaw.
He retired from Biomet Inc. as an engineer. He was a member of First Christian Church, Warsaw and enjoyed church activities. He was also an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing tournaments, making fishing flies, and building or repairing fishing rods.
Larry is survived by his wife: Nancy Stover, Warsaw; his children: Susan Stover, Warsaw; Malea Williams, Mathews, N.C.; Bryan (Connie) Stover, Hendersonville, N.C.; Terry Spiegel, Indianapolis; Robert Spiegel, Walkerton, Ind.; Helen (Kenny) Haines, Plymouth, Ind.; and Kathy Anglemyer, Silver Lake, Ind.; three brothers: Max (Mary) Stover, Kokomo, Ind.; Ray (Linda) Stover, Columbia City, Ind.; and Ed (Malinda) Stover, Elwood, Ind.; 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son: Trent Stover.
Visitation hours will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, July 20, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Home, Warsaw. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 21, in the funeral home with Pastor Gary Boschain officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
